Celebrate June Pride:
- Jacob Burns Film Center is celebrating Pride Month by building on its Out There series featuring films, Q&As and community events, including:
- June 4: Screening of the new British comedy-drama Departures followed by happy hour in the Take 3 Wine Bar & Cafe.
- June 10: A showing of the 35mm Cannes-winning film, Carol.
- June 18: Screening of the documentary, James Baldwin: The Price of the Ticket, along with a Q&A with Director Karen Thorsen.
- June 20: Drag queen storytime with Dee Dee.
- June 22 & 25: Two showings of the fiction feature, I Carry You with Me.
- June 25: Pride Parking Lot Party with food trucks, a bar, photo booth, drag queens, and more.
- June 26: LGBTQ+ Stand-Up Comedy Night.
- June 30: A showing of Outerlands, followed by a Q&A with Asia Kate Dillon (Orange Is the New Black, Billions) and director/writer Elena Oxman,
- Be a part of a free, joyful, family-friendly festival in downtown Hastings at the 4th Annual Friday Night Pride event on Friday, June 12. Pre-event festivities take place at The Good Witch Coffee Bar with music and a banner-making activity. From there, families can march up Warburton Avenue to join the street fair-style festival. The plentiful entertainment includes a full line up of musicians, dancers and performers, projects with ArtsWestchester's ArtsMobile, delicious food, and much more.
- Join the fun at Yonkers Pride Festival on June 13 for a powerful celebration of love, identity and inclusivity. With live music, local food vendors, drag performances, and family-friendly activities, it’s a joyful, community-centered day that transforms the Yonkers Downtown Waterfront into a vibrant display of pride and unity.
- Peekskill's 6th Annual Family Pride in the Park on June 27 at Pugsley Park includes special visits with music, performances, drag queen story time, vendors and more.
- Challenge yourself to rock climbing at Movement's Queer Climbing Nights. Taking place the first Monday of every month for guests over 18 and the third Monday of every month for all ages. Climbers of all level s are welcome to train and connect in this supportive environment.
